Our Data (Thermometers and rain gages are set up each evening at dusk and retrieved at dawn). So, min and max temperatures are for the evening period only !

A BIG storm hit the Old Woman Creek NERR Tuesday (2 Sept) evening about 7:30 pm. Winds were reported to gust to 40 knots Winds did not knock over our traps, but water levels in the creek were 10-20 cm higher the next morning! The barrier beach breached during the storm, allowing the lake to intruded into Old Woman Creek, and one thermometer shattered in the high winds.
