Design Consultants, Inc. performed a wetland delineation on a site located
in Warren, OH. Jurisdictional wetlands,
wetlands that meet criteria for hydrology, hydrophytic vegetation and
hydric soils, were found on the site. Since the site was proposed
for development an analysis of development alternatives was also performed.
This analysis demonstrates that steps were taken to avoid and reduce
the number of wetland acres that would be affected by development.
Finally, a conceptual wetland design was developed for this site.
A conceptual wetland design takes a look at the site's hydrology and
vegetation and sets up steps for a more detailed study should constructed
wetlands be required to replace the functions and values of wetlands
that are affected by development.
